Biotest
Cytotect® CP Biotest's method against CMV has been updated after 40 years. To showcase this, the plan was to ditch the traditional MOA video for a rock and roll theme. Picture 'band members' coming together to 'amplify' protection against CMV. A fresh take that highlights the revolutionary changes in the drug's method and how it's made up of 5 integral elements.

With tight deadlines and a small budget, I had to rely on stock footage for the video. To make it work, I went for a cut-out collage style, blending different clips together while keeping it cohesive. Adding some color grading and texture helped tie everything together. Solely responsible for storyboarding and the video creation, I particularly enjoyed layering hand-drawn animations on top - I love creating motion design that matches the energy of the message.

take aways
It was an exciting project to work on, especially since it was a significant solo endeavor. Having full responsibility for the video's style and feel was a big task, but I enjoyed making it my own. I explored new After Effects tutorials to achieve the best look and feel for the video. Despite the tight deadline and budget constraints, I'm really pleased with the outcome. This was my first time creating a video with a cut-and-paste style, and I learned a lot that I'm excited to apply in the future.
